Taste Notes: 5/1/2018 - WAY too much hop bitterness in this one for my liking. I probably should have removed the boil additions and just went with a hop stand and dry-hopping. Also, dry-hop character is too grassy. Probably should have stuck with an oz or two instead of 3. Might end up dumping this one if I can't find an event to serve it at.

5/8/2018 - DUMPED. The bitterness on this one was just too high and not mellowing out. I cramed way too many hops into this batch trying to use up what I won at the ABL raffle. Oh well.

Notes

Original Recipe: https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/homebrew-recipe/bells-two-hearted-ale-clone/

3/7/2018 - Brew Day - Accidently started mashing over 160 degrees due to me reading the thermometer wrong. Quickly cooled down to around 152 degrees with ice and aggressive stirring. SG before boil was 1.056, so I got full conversion. Hopefully the beer doesn't finish high. Performed a 15 minute hop stand after adding the flameout hops then chilled to 74 degrees and pitched yeast.

3/18/2018 - Added 3 oz Centennial hops to the fermenter.

3/22/2018 - Kegged
