Notes

8/28/2019 - Wort looked a little darker than intended. Probbaly should have only added 2 oz of Carafa II, but we'll see what it looks like in the glass. Let hops steep for 5-8 minutes after the boil and chilled to 85 degrees. Pitched and left in the basement. I will likely bring it upstairs after active fermentation kicks in so it will keep fermenting warmer.
9/?/2019 - Kegged. FG=1.010. Subtle hop character and deep ruby color.
10/14/2019 - Carbonated. The beer is OK, but not very interesting with just cascade for the most part. I don't recall if I added the Simcoe hops in DH or not, but it doesn't really taste lik eit. I probably should have added another hop for a little complexity. It's an easy drinking beer, so hopefully it gets finished at Rachel's birthday party.
