12/19/2021 - Brew Day - Tried using a mesh bag OUTSIDE the malt pipe on the BZ to see if that would reduce the amount of grain I was getting in the boil. Turns out, this caused my runoff/sparge to run SUPER SLOW!!! It was barely trickling out of the bottom. I used some rice hulls, but maybe the bag is just too fine to use with the tube? Or my crush is too fine on top of that as well? I need to figure out something to keep the grain out of my boil on future batches, but still allow the sparg to flow more efficiently.
