Notes

10/13/2022 - Brew Day - Forgot to cut my water up front with distilled, so I just ended up using distilled for my sparge water. I ended up heating up the distilled water for sparge with .25 gallons of tap water to around 160 to speed up the batch a bit. I found out I only had 1.25 oz. So I increased the amount of Tett hops to make up for this. I did about a 5 minute whirlpool after adding the flameout hops before starting to chill. Chilled to around 70 degrees and pitched saved yeast from Festbier batch. I opened the basement window to allow the room to cool down a bit to hopefully ferment a little cooler. I will ferment this batch under around 10 psi after the first day or two.
