Note on Storing Hops

**Hops should always be stored in the freezer after purchasing!  If you buy hops in bulk, once they've been opened, I would suggest storing them in 1-quart mason jars or packaging them up into smaller amounts using a vacuum packer.  I've found that stored like this, they can last years without much in the way of alpha acid loss or flavor degradation.**
